COLOSSUS partners at the Ruprecht Karls-Universitaet Heidelberg are hosting a meeting for clinicians on the morning of December 18th, 2021. At the event, on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., entitled: Update Innere Medizin 2021: Neues von den Grossen Jahreskongressen, clinical experts will report on current innovations in the various sub-areas of internal medicine. This year, the event will take place online as a result of the current surge in COVID-19 cases. COLOSSUS will be presented to the 30 attendees.

“The Internal Medicine Update 2021 gives doctors a compact overview of the latest innovations in their field,” explains update organizer Professor Dr. med. Matthias Ebert. “At the same time, we offer specialist depth and discuss relevant results with reference to daily clinical practice.” The event topics cover the broad spectrum of internal medicine from cardiology to gastroenterology, hemato-oncology, nephrology and rheumatology to geriatrics. As a special highlight this year, Peter Lemmers, presiding judge at the Munich Regional Court, will give a lecture on the importance of medical law for daily practice.

Participation in the internal medicine update is free of charge, the complete programme with registration information can be found here.
