New premises and collaboration: RCSI and Cancer Trials Ireland

Dr Verena Murphy, Head of Research and Business Development at Cancer Trials Ireland reports that their operations have moved offices from Glasnevin to Ardilaun House, a Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) building at St Stephen’s Green, Dublin as part of their new partnership with the RCSI.

The RCSI and Cancer Trials Ireland formed a partnership to respond to the (Ireland’s) Health Research Board’s Cancer trials in Ireland 2021 funding call. This programme will support the establishment of Cancer Trials Groups and an Irish National Cancer Clinical Trials Network represented by Cancer Trials Ireland with the aim of enabling the development and delivery of a high-quality portfolio of cancer clinical trials with relevance to health and care needs in Ireland.
